On This Day Email Subscriptions

2012-03-17
Our daily email updates from the On This Day in London archive, have been improved this week.

1. The unsubscription facility has been improved and each email now includes a direct link to unsubscribe that user, making it much easier to control your own subscription. Opt in and opt out at will. At the moment we send out one email each day with that days events (if there are any - if you dont receive one then it may be what we call a dead day.)

2. We're sending out reminders each day too, to those who requested subscriptions but who haven't confirmed their subscriptions. This email includes the subscription confirmation link and the unsubscription link, if the subscription was done in error. Either way, it enables the user to clarify their requirements immediately.
