Once a Victorian workhouse with an adjoining tunnel

Description: The 'Leicester Arms' is one of many pubs in the Piccadilly area with a story to tell - but on this occasion the yarn takes in the boozer next door, the 'Glassblower'.

Both buildings were once in fact the same building, both being part of the same Victorian workhouse, the Leicster Arms was in fact the children's play area of the workhouse (I would imagine not a great deal of fun was had there).

The two pubs were also originally joined by a large tunnel, now filled, you can still see where the it used to be on closer pub inspection.
