Description: The Woolwich Granada, a Gothic densation in it's day was once described as 'the most romantic theatre ever built'.
It was designed by architect George Coles
in a modern gothic and art deco hybrid and opened in 1937.
In it's early days it became a celebrity premiere hotspot with many stars attending first nights here including Glenda Farrell, Claude Hulbert, and Buddy Holly.
Inside there's a Hall of Mirrors serving as a waiting area for balcony patrons.
Today the grade II listed former Odeon and Bingo hall is part of the thriving New Wine Church.
