The pub where footballer Graham Stack grew up.

Location: 82 Whitton Road, Hounslow

Description: This permanently closed pub (back in 2009) The Shire Horse was once owned by Arsenal goalkeeper Graham Stacks parents and where he grew up.

At 16, Stack left the pub on the advice of Arsenal's head of youth development, Liam Brady, who did not believe it was the best environment for a young professional. Stack told The Evening Standard I was in the living part of the pub but until gone midnight you could still hear the music coming up through the ceiling.

Today it has been converted into flats.
