Description: The IFS Cloud Cable Car runs between IFS Greenwich Peninsula (Southern O2 end) and IFS Royal Docks (Excel/City Hall Northern end).
The Greenwich Peninsula end is South East of the O2 between car parks.
It was built by Doppelmayr for about 60 million and opened on the 28th June 2012 and is operated by Transport for London (TfL).
The cars arrive every 30 seconds and carry up to ten people, each journey taking up to 10 minutes but vary according to passenger flow and weather conditions. Bicycles are accepted on the IFS Cloud Cable Car at all times.
It doesnt operate when there is a threat of lightning and thunder to the immediate area and/or very strong winds.
